Leap Day Celebration

It's Leap Day today and I think we should celebrate. It should be a national holiday every four years, at least! To have an extra day in the year...and extra day to live...why wouldn't we want to celebrate that fact?

We should take the day to explore, do something new, do something we have never tried. We should use our creativity to the fullest, using the gifts that God has given us. Or we should just "be". Rest and rejuvenate, feeding our souls to connect with the Creator who has given us another day.

  1. I've always wondered why an extra day was added in the dead of Winter. Why not have 32 days in July, instead?

  2. Where do you live? It is supposed to be 75 degrees in Texas today! Beautiful!!!! We even have trees budding out. ;)
